The Road Commission for Montcalm County is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time
Engineering Technician position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: performing basic field surveying, assisting in the design and development of road construction plans, performing construction inspection and documentation, and performing various other technical engineering related work. An Associate’s degree in concrete technology, civil technology, construction technology, surveying technology or construction management plus a minimum of at least two years’ experience as an engineering technician is preferred. Applicants should be knowledgeable in CAD software, utilization of other computer software, and MDOT project engineering and documentation. Applicants must possess a valid drivers’ license.
